Admission and Retentions Policies
1. General Admission requirements are as follows:
1.1. In general, only those students who can profit from graduate work and are able to pursue successfully
the prescribed requirement for graduation shall be admitted to the graduate school.
1.2. Degree requirement
1.2.1. Masteral degree program: a Bachelor's degree from a college or university of good standing
1.2.2. Doctoral degree program: a Masteral degree with thesis from a College or University of good standing
1.3. Grade Requirement for Admission:
1.3.1.1. Masteral:A grade of point average of 85 in the undergraduate will be required for admission to the Graduate Program.
1.3.1.2. Doctoral: A grade of point average of 90 in the graduate Program will be required for admission to the postgraduate Program.
1.4. A student who does not meet this grade requirement maybe admitted on probation.
1.5. Students applying for admission must take the placement examination, fill up the application form and submit the following:
1.5.1. 3 references, one of whom would come from the academics.
1.5.2. 2 "1x1" ID photo
1.5.3. Transcript of Records
1.5.4. Honorable Dismissal
1.5.5. Special Order, when applicable
1.6. The applicant must be available for interview.
1.7. Graduate students in other schools who would like to take a course are to submit permit to study from their schools.
1.8. Students who are government employees are to submit permit to study from their unit heads
1.9. Foreign students seeking admission are to comply with CHED requirements for foreign students.
1.10. Work experience relevant to one's field is required for admission:
1.10.1. Masteral degree: one year
1.10.2. Doctoral degree: three years
1.11. Thesis requirement: a thesis in Masteral program is required for admission to all doctoral programs.
1.12. Masteral degree holder in non-thesis program who seek admission to a doctoral program:
1.12.1.should establish a one year residency at NDDU graduate school enrolling in two basic subjects [6 units] and two major subjects [6 units].
1.12.2.should enroll in:
1.12.2.1.For MA: Thesis Writing [TW]
1.12.2.2.For MBA: Business Management Reseach [BMR]
1.12.3.must complete the thesis or BMR requirement, before admission to a doctoral program.
2. Specific Requirement for Admission to Doctoral Degree Program

* The applicant must be graduate of a business or management course. * Masteral degree holder with thesis or BMR * Where one is not a Management degree holder, he/she id to earn 12 units of business/management courses in the graduate program. |
* With Masteral degree in Education with thesis
* Where one is not a holder of a Masteral degree in Education, he/she is to earn 6 units of education and 6 units of philosopy in the graduate program. |
* With Masteral degree in education, major in Language or Literature with thesis * Where one is not a Masteral degree holder in Language or Literature he/she is to earn 12 untis in language or literature in the graduate program. |
* With Masteral degree in Education major in Biology, or Science with thesis * Where one is not a Masteral degree holder in Biology or Science he/she is to earn 12 units in Biology / Science in the Graduate Program. |
3. Specific requirements for admission to Masteral Degree Programs

* Must be a holder of a Bachelor's degree in the field of Business. * Where one is not, he/she is required to enroll in Crash course in accounting equivalent to 18 hours and 6 units of Business related courses. |
* Must have a Bachelor's degree in Social Science programs such as history, political science, or business. | * Must have a Bachelor's degree in Education, or, * Where one is not, he/she must earn ar least 18 units of education subjects in the undergraduate. |
* Must be a holder of BS Nursing degree. * One year experience in relevant field. |
4. Admission of Transferees
Student who have pursued graduate program in other schools may enroll at NDDU after meeting the following requirements: Interview. Entrance test, submission of documents enumerated in 4.1
4.1 Documents required are:
4.1.1. Refenrences
4.1.2. ID picture
4.1.3. Honorable Dismissal
4.1.4 Official Transcript of records
4.1.5. Grades which met the grade requirements for admission
4.2 For Crediting: only 2 units taken from other schools will be credited
5. Retention Policies
5.1. Graduate students who are enrolled should maintain the grade requirement of B[88-90] or better, for post graduate B+[91-94];
5.2. Students who do not meet the grade requirement will be placed on probation for one term only.
5.3. Students who fail to meet the grade requirement for the second time will be disqualified for enrollment in the suceeding semester/trimester.
