| 1995-1996 | NDDC was chosen as the Graduate Center for Master in Business Education by Fund for Assistance to Private Education [FAPE], Philippine Association of Colleges and Schools of Business [PACSB] and Commission on Higher Education [CHED]. |
| 1997-1998 | Government recognitions were granted for NDDC's Master in Public Administration (MPA - 097, series of 1998) and Master in Business Education (MBE - 098, series of 1998) Programs. |
| 2000-2001 | The maiden issue of the Graduate School Research Journal was published. |
| NDDC was recognized as a Center of Excellence in Early Childhood Education by the Fund for Assistance to Private Education [FAPE] and Commission on Higher Education [CHED]. | |

| 2001-2002 | NDDC was granted government permit yo operate Doctor in Management major in Human Resource Management (DMHRM) Program with twenty seven (27) students composing the first class. |
| 2002-2003 | CHED granted NDDC its autonomous status. |
| Under the autonomous authority NDDC opened two more doctoral programs, PhD in Language Education and PhD in Science Education major in Biology. | |
| In the same year, it also opened its own new master's degree program in Nursing (MAN) as separate from that of San Pedro College with whom NDDC had consortium program. | |
