In a vibrant burst of energy and creativity, the Confederation of Clubs and Organizations (CCO) was committed to perpetuating the annual spectacle of redefining what it means to learn and lead during the Sandugo 2024 held yesterday, October 5.

Centered around the theme, โ€œMahika: Mapagpalayang Aklat ng Hiwaga at Inspirasyong Kinagisnan ng mga Alamatโ€, the activity featured a series of engaging activities aimed at fostering a sense of community while enforcing essential leadership skills.

Officially commencing the event, CCO Moderator – Ms. Perlita G. Asperga, delivered a powerful opening address that set the tone for the dayโ€™s team-building journey. She expressed a keen emphasis on the authentic value of leadership which does not only come with individual achievements, but a collaboration that drives everyone into shared success.

Meanwhile, the morning session continued with motivational talks from the key officers and staff of the organization, outlining the exciting activities ahead. Excitement grew as the first challenge was started. Student leaders participated in the โ€˜Shoe Towerโ€™ demonstrating their shrewdness in strategizing a resilient build of shoes.

Progressing onto the later part of the event, alumni speakers Ms. Pauline Angela M. Roma, CPA, CTT, and Ms. Christine P. Anino, RPm, shared their leadership experiences, underscoring the importance of diversity and unity in student organizations.

The excitement peaked with the โ€œAmazing Race,โ€ a series of demanding physical and mental challenges that tested both individual and team endurance. Student leaders worked together to navigate obstacles, demonstrating teamwork and problem-solving skills.

The day concluded with the awarding ceremony, where Kakahuyang Tanguile was named the Overall Champion of Sandugo 2024. Participants left the event energized and equipped with new leadership strategies to bring back to their organizations.
