The two-day initiative sought to strengthen the capability of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the region to engage with global ranking frameworks and integrate the ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ ๐ฆ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐ฝ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ผ๐ฎ๐น๐ (๐ฆ๐๐๐) into institutional strategies for internationalization and global visibility. The sessions focused on ๐ง๐ถ๐บ๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป (๐ง๐๐) ๐๐บ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐ โwhich directly assess university performance against the SDGsโand the ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐น๐ฑ ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ป๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ป๐ป๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป (๐ช๐จ๐ฅ๐), emphasizing innovation, social responsibility, and relevance.
Representing ๐๐ค๐ฉ๐ง๐ ๐ฟ๐๐ข๐ ๐ค๐ ๐ฟ๐๐๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐จ ๐๐ฃ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐จ๐๐ฉ๐ฎ (๐๐ฟ๐ฟ๐), ๐ฟ๐ง. ๐๐ค๐๐๐ฃ ๐ผ. ๐ฟ๐ค๐ง๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ก๐ served as one of the resource speakers, contributing insights during the coaching and mentoring sessions. The program included institutional mentoring and workshops that guided HEIs in crafting their own i-Rank Plansโroadmaps for integrating international ranking goals with SDG-driven outcomes such as ๐๐ช๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐ฎ ๐๐๐ช๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ (๐๐ฟ๐ 4), ๐๐ฃ๐๐ช๐จ๐ฉ๐ง๐ฎ, ๐๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ค๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ, ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ฃ๐๐ง๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ง๐ช๐๐ฉ๐ช๐ง๐ (๐๐ฟ๐ 9), and ๐๐๐ง๐ฉ๐ฃ๐๐ง๐จ๐๐๐ฅ๐จ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ค๐๐ก๐จ (๐๐ฟ๐ 17).
Through this CHED-led collaboration, Region XIIโs IRO leaders and staff reaffirmed their collective commitment to advancing academic excellence, international cooperation, and sustainable development, ensuring that Mindanao HEIs continue to make meaningful contributions to the global education community.
