Notre Dame of Dadiangas University (NDDU) proudly congratulates Leizle B. Coronica on the publication of her sabbatical research entitled โ€œBaseline Assessment of Imposex Incidence and Severity in Coastal Gastropods within the Sarangani Bay Protected Seascape (SBPS), Philippinesโ€ in the International Journal of Research and Scientific Innovation, Volume 13, Issue 8, September 2026.

The study provides baseline scientific information on the incidence and severity of imposex among coastal gastropods within the Sarangani Bay Protected Seascape. Imposex is a condition in which female marine snails develop male reproductive characteristics, often associated with exposure to certain environmental contaminants. The findings contribute to scientific understanding of marine environmental health and support the importance of monitoring and protecting coastal ecosystems.

This research milestone reflects NDDUโ€™s commitment to scientific inquiry, environmental sustainability, and academic excellence.

Congratulations on this scholarly achievement, Dr. Coronica!
