We proudly congratulate Dr. Leizle B. Coronica, Faculty Member of Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, on her appointment as the Academic Representative to the Protected Area Management Board (PAMB) of the Sarangani Bay Protected Seascape (SBPS).

Her appointment highlights the important role of the academe in advancing science-informed, inclusive, and participatory protected area management, while strengthening collaboration among government, civil society, the private sector, Indigenous communities, and other stakeholders.

As an Academic Representative, Dr. Coronica brings the expertise and perspective of the academe toward the continued protection, conservation, and sustainable management of the Sarangani Bay Protected Seascape.
