𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐱𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐮’𝐬 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐂𝐎𝐍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒

The College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology celebrated Kitsu’s 1st Birthday on Sunday, September 22, during the CEAT Campus Connection 2024.

The celebration featured a fun kid’s birthday theme, with attendees in colorful, playful outfits. Balloons, party hats, and decorations created a joyful atmosphere, perfect for celebrating the birthday of Kitsu, CEAT’s animal mascot. 

The day began with great energy as students from programs of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Environmental Planning, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, and Multimedia Arts gathered for a morning filled with Zumba, followed by Larong Pinoy and parlor games.

As the afternoon unfolded, the focus shifted to showcasing talent. The Vocal Solo competition captivated the audience, with Architecture emerging as the winner after delivering a heartfelt performance of ‘𝑀𝑎𝑦𝑏𝑒 𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑇𝑖𝑚𝑒’. Meanwhile, the Imong Nawong Superstar contest added a playful twist, with Civil Engineering winning over the crowd with their energetic portrayal of SB19.

Excitement peaked in the evening with the surprise arrival of Jollibee, a beloved icon for all Filipinos, including CEAT students. The crowd cheered with delight as Jollibee brought extra fun to the celebration. The highlight of the night was the SIPAT competition, where participants transformed into members of the all-girl group BINI.

Multimedia Arts claimed overall victory with a standout performance as BINI Maloi, while Electrical Engineering won Best Attire as BINI Gwen and the Best Production Number went to a collaboration between Multimedia Arts and Environmental Planning.

In addition to major awards, Architecture Department excelled in the minor awards, winning both Best in OA and Best in Production, celebrating their teamwork, creativity, and attention to detail. 

The event was a fun-filled day of music and camaraderie, helping students strengthen their connections and prepare for the upcoming Intramurals, as well as future competitions. Overall, CEAT BiniSaya: Campus Kaugnayan 2024 was a great success.
