To finally fulfill their final requirement on their Pharmacy journey, the batch 2025’s Excellentiam Conantes Pharmacy Interns gathered for the 8th Pin and White Coat Investiture this morning, August 9, 2024.
Mrs. Jeasa Marie V. Carlos, RPH, MSPH, opened the ceremony with a warm welcome to the parents, friends, teachers, and the recipients themselves, setting the tone for a memorable and joyous event.
The ceremony followed the theme, “Striving for Excellence: Together as One, Pharmacy Shines,” marking the beginning of their internship journey. The interns were reminded of the significance behind their pins and white coats, symbols of the shining pharmacists they aspire to become.
Dr. Rue Flora P. Ruiz, RN, PhD, CHS Dean, emphasized in her speech, “đ¨đ đđđ đđđđđđđ đđđđ đđđđ đđđ đđđđđ, đđđđđđđđ đđđ đđđđđđđ đđđđđđ đđđđ. đ¨đ đđđđđđ đđđđđđđđđ đ´đđđđđ đđđđđđđđđđđ, đđđ đđđđ đđđ đđđđđ đđ đđđđđđ đđđđđđđđ’ đđđđđ. đŹđđđ đđđđđđđđđđđ đđđ đđđđđđđđđđđđ đđđđđđđ đđđ đđđđđđđđđ đđ đđđđđ đđđđđđđ’đ đđđđ-đđđđđ.”
Moreover, a Eucharistic Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Jefil Gallego, who blessed and enlightened the interns on their path ahead. Additionally, Justine May Ponce, the Pharmakeia President, expressed heartfelt gratitude during her thanksgiving speech by singing “Leader of the Band” by Dan Fogelberg, honoring the parents who supported the interns throughout their academic journey.
