𝐍𝐃𝐃𝐔 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐆𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐨𝐲𝐨𝐭𝐚 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝

𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥, 𝘑𝘶𝘭𝘺 18, 2025 — As part of this year’s 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙥 (𝙄𝙀𝙏), 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙙-𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝘽𝙞𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 from 𝙉𝙤𝙩𝙧𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙨 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 (𝙉𝘿𝘿𝙐) joined their counterparts from Saint Louis University and Saint Mary University in an eye-opening visit to the 𝙏𝙤𝙮𝙤𝙩𝙖 𝘽𝙞𝙤𝙙𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 – 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙬𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙩, located at the Toyota Ban Pho Plant in Thailand.
This initiative is part of Toyota’s ongoing commitment to environmental conservation, offering students across Asia a global perspective on the intersection of nature, sustainability, and industrial innovation. The visit provided NDDU students with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of biodiversity and sustainable development through experiential learning in what the center describes as a “classroom in nature.”
Throughout the immersive program, students engaged their senses and minds in various hands-on activities including:

1. 𝘎𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘪𝘳𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨,
2. 𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘉𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘰,

According to the organizers, these interactive learning experiences are designed not only to raise environmental awareness, but also to inspire future leaders in science and sustainability.
The initiative supports multiple 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙂𝙤𝙖𝙡𝙨 (𝙎𝘿𝙂𝙨), including 𝙎𝘿𝙂 4 (𝙌𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣), 𝙎𝘿𝙂 15 (𝙇𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙙), and 𝙎𝘿𝙂 17 (𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙖𝙡𝙨), aligning with NDDU’s broader mission to cultivate globally competent graduates through transformative educational engagements.
This international exposure marks another milestone for NDDU’s commitment to holistic student development and cross-cultural environmental education.
