The delegation is composed of 29 Medical Technology students and two faculty members, who will undergo a structured academic and laboratory immersion from February 6 to March 7, 2026. The program includes specialized training in key laboratory areas such as Hematology and Clinical Microscopy, Serology and Blood Banking, Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology, and Coagulation Testing, along with institutional visits and cultural immersion activities.
The departure follows an official CHED Regional Office XII endorsement to the Bureau of Immigration, dated January 23, 2026, supporting the universityโ€™s international educational trip and facilitating travel documentation for the participants.
The program is part of the universityโ€™s broader push for internationalization in health sciences education, providing students with direct exposure to global laboratory standards, evidence-based practices, and cross-cultural learning environments.
The mobility initiative is implemented under a formal partnership agreement between NDDU and HCU, designed to strengthen academic collaboration, training development, and institutional benchmarking across the Asian region.
The delegation is expected to return to the Philippines in early March after completing the program, which will conclude with a comprehensive examination and closing ceremony in Thailand.
