NDDU Hosts Professorial Lecture on Internationalization and Research Excellence

Notre Dame of Dadiangas University (NDDU) held a Professorial Lecture in Social Sciences titled “𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲, 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁: 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲,” underscoring its drive to strengthen research capacity and global academic engagement.
The keynote speaker, 𝘿𝙧. 𝙈𝙖𝙞𝙘𝙤 𝘿𝙚𝙢𝙞 𝘽. 𝘼𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙝𝙤, an NDDU Batch 2014 alumnus, holds two doctorate degrees (PhD and EdD) and served as a 𝙁𝙪𝙡𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 (𝙁𝙇𝙏𝘼) 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧 at 𝙂𝙤𝙣𝙯𝙖𝙜𝙖 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙒𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙤𝙣, 𝙐𝙎𝘼. He emphasized how international collaboration, academic mobility, and cross-border research can elevate institutional impact and scholarly excellence.
The lecture was attended by graduate school cohorts from various academic programs, alongside college students, faculty members, administrators, government personnel, and several NDDU alumni, fostering intergenerational and interdisciplinary academic dialogue.
The event reaffirmed NDDU’s commitment to cultivating globally competitive scholars while advancing research that creates meaningful local and international impact.
