In line with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Proclamation No. 097 in observance of Anti-Hazing Campaign Week, the In-Campus Anti-Hazing Campaign of Notre Dame of Dadiangas University was successfully conducted this February 13, 2026.
In collaboration with Menโs Ability to Associate with Society, Confederation of Clubs and Organizations, and the Honorsโ Society, together with campus officials and various student organizations, the university community gathered in unity to take a firm stand against hazing.
More than a rally, this campaign was a declaration โ that belonging should never come at the cost of humiliation, harm, or fear. It reaffirmed our commitment to building a campus culture grounded in dignity, respect, and safety.
The event highlighted awareness and prevention, reminding everyone that hazing is not only physical abuse, but also emotional manipulation, coercion, forced embarrassment, and intimidation. Through education on policies, reporting systems, and shared responsibility, the community strengthened its resolve to create an environment where students feel empowered to say โno,โ and where bystanders have the courage to say โstop.โ
Most importantly, the campaign called for culture change โ fostering organizations that build pride through service, leadership, scholarship, and teamwork, not fear.
Together, we stand not only against hazing, but for accountability, integrity, and genuine belonging. Let this be more than a moment โ let it be a movement.
