𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲

This September 21, 2026, Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, through the Peace Education Center (PEC) and the International Relations Office (IRO), joins partner institutions and organizations for a Mangrove Tree Planting Activity at the Sharif Mucsin Mangrove Sanctuary, Barangay Baluan, General Santos City.

To be held in celebration of the Season of Creation and the International Day of Peace, the activity brings together the academic community, government agencies, civil society, media, and other partners in a shared commitment to peace, environmental stewardship, climate action, and sustainability.

Every mangrove to plant is more than a tree—it is a commitment to protect our coasts, nurture biodiversity, strengthen communities, and leave a healthier planet for generations to come.

Together, we plant roots for nature and seeds of peace.
