The heart of an institution is centered at the top of the hands and diligence of those that circulate it. On that basis, Notre Dame of Dadiangas University has established support for the health and well-being of its Support Services Personnel, fostering beneficial welfare among its members. The Wellness Program, which began on February 4, 2023, was held on Saturdays to improve the general psychological health of NDDU personnel and encourage a positive spiritual work culture.
The NDDU recently introduced the Psychological First Aid Wellness Program to improve the health and mental well-being of its staff. Contained were activities that aid the definition of the program and encourage awareness and insights about health-related issues that are adamant. The purpose was to heavily mention the underlying roots of excessive health care, to enhance disposition, attitude, and workplace culture, and develop a sense of teamwork.
It is as important to cultivate a sense of dignity and management of our physical health while in the field of our expertise. Hence, employees call on self-care Saturdays to accentuate the program’s intention of promoting balanced wellness and awareness among its members. The program serves as an ongoing alert to its indispensable staff of the importance of allotting adequate time to nurture our physical health and mental well-being.
The Wellness Program’s voice functions as an indicator to the Support Services Personnel of the importance of caring for one’s well-being in order to create a morale and optimistic outlook towards work culture, which is necessary to enhance teamwork. That is why a pinned red is dotted on Saturdays to serve as a daily reminder to the staff of the allotted days for cultured overall well-being.
