General Santos CityβGraduates of Notre Dame of Dadiangas University (NDDU) outperformed national averages in the March 2023 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), achieving notable pass rates in both the elementary and secondary levels.
In the elementary level, all 13 first-time examinees passed, securing a 100% pass rate. Among repeaters, one of two candidates succeeded, yielding a 50% pass rate in this group. Overall, the elementary-level pass rate stood at 93.33% (14 out of 15), significantly higher than the national average of 40.77%.
Meanwhile, a total of 92.11% pass rate was recorded among first-time takers in the secondary level bracket, with 35 out of 38 passing. For repeaters, the pass rate was 32% (8 out of 25) and a total pass rate of 68.25% (43 out of 63).
By consistently surpassing national averages in licensure exams, NDDU continues to establish itself as a leading institution for teacher education, equipping graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to make a meaningful impact in classrooms nationwide.
