The recognition comes midway through the studentsโ intensive training program, which runs from February 6 to March 7, 2026. The delegation, accompanied by two faculty members, has been participating in daily lectures and hands-on laboratory sessions covering hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, serology, and other core areas of medical laboratory science.
University officials said the feedback affirms the quality of preparation and discipline instilled in the students prior to deployment. Faculty mentors noted that the students have demonstrated not only technical competence but also professionalism and cultural sensitivity in an international academic environment.
Beyond the laboratory benches and lecture halls, the NDDU MedTech students are also embracing campus life at HCU. After long days of training with some of the universityโs best instructors, students have been seen studying together in the library โ occasionally taking quick power naps between sessions โ as well as unwinding through recreational activities.
Some have explored HCUโs gym facilities, played sports, engaged in friendly games, and built camaraderie with fellow students, balancing academic rigor with wellness and social interaction.
The mobility program forms part of NDDUโs continuing efforts to strengthen global exposure in the health sciences, allowing students to benchmark against international standards while developing both professional competence and personal growth.
As they move into the second half of their stay, the delegation continues to represent NDDU and the Philippines with excellence โ earning praise not only for their skills, but also for their character.
