NDDU’s smoke-free policy reflects commitment to health and safety

Notre Dame of Dadiangas University (NDDU) continues to enforce its smoke-free policy, as outlined in its 2017 Policy Manual, to ensure a healthier campus environment. The policy aims to reduce secondhand smoke exposure, promote a healthier lifestyle, and decrease smoking rates among students and staff.

The smoke-free initiative reflects NDDU’s commitment to the safety and well-being of its community by eliminating the risks of smoking on campus. The university remains dedicated to maintaining a clean, healthy space for learning and working.

In addition to the smoke-free policy, the manual provides separation pay guidelines for employees affected by closure or serious illness, further supporting their welfare.

Disciplinary actions, including verbal warnings and possible dismissal, ensure compliance with campus rules, reinforcing NDDU’s focus on a safe and organized environment for everyone.
