Notre Dame of Dadiangas University (NDDU) Team 1 secured a fifth-place finish in the Basic Category of the 2026 Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Gensan Inter-Collegiate Accounting Quiz Bowl held September 25 at Robinsons Gensan.

Representing the university for the winning Basic Category Team 1 were Diana Jane Amoguis, Dione Francinne Dolendo, and Mary Dominique Altobano.

NDDU also fielded Team 2 for the Basic Category, composed of Jilliane Daniel, Kate Rocapor, and Venedich Fenolan, who competed as finalists. In the said division, Mindanao State University (MSU) Team 2 and Team 1 took the 1st and 2nd spots, respectively. Gensantos Foundation College Incorporated (GFCI) Team 1 placed 3rd, while GFCI Team 2 and New Brighton School of the Philippines, Inc. Team 1 tied for 4th.

Meanwhile, NDDU sent two teams to compete as finalists in the Advanced Category. Team 1 consisted of Gesbelle Sabellona, Maisarah Omar, and Mary Adrianne Enargan, while Team 2 was represented by Chubby Misa, Althea Bianca Bergavera, and Kcanne Kylle Matillano.

The Advanced Category was championed by Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges Team 1, followed by GFCI Team 2 (2nd), MSU Team 2 (3rd), MSU Team 1 (4th), and STI College Gensantos Inc. Team 1 (5th).
